My Diplomatic (maroon) Passport application in WASHDC today. Any group information on how the transfer works from US Dept of Agriculture US Forest Service Teacher to DoDEA Teacher Japan?. US OPM says the process is seamless and I will not lose any duty days between the two positions.

If you're working for the USDA in Washington DC until 4,00pm on Tuesday, and then you start working for the DEA in Baltimore at 8.00am on Wednesday, then yes, the OPM is correct, and you will not lose any duty days.
