The schools (bases) are very different from each other. Lakenheath is large and serves a much higher needs population than Feltwell. The admin styles seem quite different too. Feltwell is a Geographically Separate Unit (GSU) which means that it is separate and far away from everything else. The teachers at Feltwell don't have a BX, or a gas station, and even checking their mail entails a drive to Lakenheath.

MsU - You say that both of these schools have been severely short staffed for the past 2 years. Is that due to a lack of applicants, unexpected departures, or funding cuts that removed the positions? Other people make it sound like it is hard to get hired on here.

Two schools? There are five schools in that complex.
They were never short staffed. They all have a high turnover. The turnover was for all the reasons you listed and more.
