I've been putting this off, and putting this off! My certificate expires in June of 2010 (no more extensions unless enrolled in cert program, applied for all the other ones already!) and I'm not sure how to figure out which route is better for me. Things I'm looking at are: cost of program compared to pay increase (stiped with NBTC, higher level on salary schedule with Pro Cert), time commitment, and if I can get an extension if I do National Boards or not?

Ideas? Feedback? Thanks!

Andrea I'm in the exact same situation, and am also going back and forth. I planned to go with the pro-cert because I have a toddler and don't know if I can make myself put all that is necessary into the NB, but I'm still second-guessing myself! > > If you begin your National Boards now the earliest you will > get your score is November of 2010. ...See More
