I have a young 5 yr old little boy in my preschool who over the summer when back to using a whole hand fist when writing. Last year he was using a modified tripod grasp. We do a lot of fine motor work with pegs, pieces of chalk, pieces of crayon, cutting, lacing, play dough, etc. He does fine with all that. I'm not sure the best way to encourage the proper writing grasp. Any suggestions?
