I am starting a new EBD class at my middle school. I have never found a way to deliver academic instruction in this environment that truly meets the diverse needs of the students and accounts for how some of them come and go for short periods of time out of gen ed into the EBD class. I'm thinking of centers or project based learning or self-paced folders, choice boards???? I want the academics to be dynamic and engaging, but not make me crazy trying to plan for 3 grades and umpteen subjects.
