I'm working with a student in my class who is wheelchair bound with some functionality of his hands. He is mentally around the age of 4 to 6 years old. I'll give him two options and he will pick one, I can help him do that activity for a few minutes, when I walk away he just stops and does nothing. I have not been working with him for long yet and I actually don't know what he is coded with.

I have tried using dice with letters, puzzles, Ipads with games (ABCyea), toys that light up and make noise, story books and movies on the Smartboard. Getting any kind of interaction with him on any level is very difficult. He can ask me the same question twice within a ten second period and not remember the answer.

Does anyone have any ideas that I could try next or resources I could look up?
