mrsd N. IL (60 miles west of Chicago). $90 a day. Retired teacher, so no TRS taken out. Used to be $110 a day until they cut it about 4 years ago. Karen

BJ Generally $90-100 a day in most Pa. districts. Long-term
pays a little more at $110 a day or higher depending on
whether you work for an agency or directly for a district.

Kathy I sub in the district where I retired from. I make $137 and change for regular sub jobs and $179 and change per day for long term (after 15 days). At that point long term pay is retroactive to day one of the job, too. This is a large urban district in IL.

Lee NJ- $70 - $90 depending on the district in my area. Many make you take off the 20th day to avoid long term pay if it won't go much longer than that. I've made $252 per day for a maternity leave replacement, no benefits.
