I know if said I was done subbing for the year, but

I went to a gathering yesterday afternoon with the team I had worked with for 3 months and their counterparts from another school. Two,of the three paras from that classroom were there. They asked if I would sub the last day of school because their sub had promised to work for a friend a long time ago. I jumped on it. I need to make sure that I was put in as another sub had wanted it. However, she likes self-contained rooms because she can sit and watch the paras do the work. She subbed in my room a couple of times before I retired. I had to fill out a form to request she be blocked from my room. I hated doing it, but my paras were overworked and underpaid to begin with. Expecting them to teach on top of their regular jobs was too much. I can't wait to see everyone again.,it will be interesting to see how the kids respond. Kathy
