I am trying to locate an activity that I have used before
to show, using an apple, how much of the Earth's actual
surface can be used for man's purpose. The activity shows
parts of the apple being cut away because it cannot be used
by man due to various reasons (it is a desert or frozen
area, or salt water, etc...) At the end of the activity
you are left with a small section of the skin of the apple
which shows actually how much of the earth man really has
to utilize (therefore leading to a lesson on why we really
need to protect the Earth!!!)
If anyone know of this activity and knows exactly how to do
it please e mail me so that I can get a copy of it. THANKS

I am looking for that same lesson and I can't find it! If
anyone has it, *please* send it to me! Thanks!
