Hi..I don't usually post on this chatboard, but I thought
someone here could help.
I'm planning a month-long (or more) rain forest unit for
my first grade class. I like to plan thematically,
building around good literature, and tying math and
science together. I really enjoy hands-on students
activities, and discussions. I'm trying to gather good,
solid hands-on experiences for my kids related to the
rainforest, ecology, food chains/webs. Any suggestions?--
please post. You don't have to post an enitre lesson-
just the "gist" of it...I'll get it :-) Thanks for any
help with my "brainstorming"- looking forward to a ver
meaningful unit with my students!
