Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

Hello, I'm a new graduate and I understand that part-time jobs are listed using a decimal-point system. What does it all mean though? If there's a 40-hour work week (before all the work you have to take home to do at night), what would a .8 or a .2 mean. I am assuming a .2 would be 8 hours or something. Then, .8 would be 32 hours? Is that about right, or is it different depending on which school district is hiring? Thanks. ACL
What it means It's talking about prep hours. In a normal school day, let's say you have 5 prep hours to prepare for (AKA 5 separate classes you have to teach). If it's a .8 position, there are only 4 classes for you to teach. If it's a .2, there's only 1 class to teach.
