Hello,

Please let me know if I am crazy or not. I work in a two teacher department. I take pride in my work, and feel that I do a great job at creating handouts and classroom materials that guide students. My coworker has always taken copies of my work, without asking, and used them as her own, or based her own materials on them.

I have always hated that she does this. I have told her before that I do not like it.

The first day of my teaching job, she walked into school, and asked if she could make copies of my classroom rules.

Really?? A SENIOR teacher sponging work off of a newer teacher?

Anyways...it has always been this way.

Now with the new teacher evaluation system...I REALLY want it to stop. She is piggybacking off of my hard work...and has seniority. And with the new eval system...I have to make sure that I stand apart as the teacher that gets better results, has innovative ideas, and works my butt off!

Whining over nothing? Uh, you are whining over someone stealing some lousy stuff that you just bought. In comparison, this person has created the curriculum materials that are being stolen from her. She has poured her blood sweat and tears into those materials. That makes them much more valuable and personal that the books that you bought.
