Hi there I am intending to become a nationally board certified candidate starting next school year. I am wondering if anyone has any recommended reading that is a must read between now and August ? Is there any books that really helped you and becoming an accomplished teacher?

Lockdown

Went to handover for new school today and students and staff practised Lockdown Procedure. Never had that in any other school ever! Was not comfortable, at all, and some of the students were really rattled. God forbid we ever need to actually use it.

How do your students cope?
