So, I went i...See MoreThe Texas hill country went from spring (86 degrees yesterday) to winter today (48 degrees). I talked myself out of going for my walk this morning because it was cold and very windy. So I sat and got sucked into a lifetime movie. After the movie, I couldn't shake that nagging persistent thought that I NEEDED to go for my walk!
So, I went into my closet and pulled out my cold weather gear and got dressed. I layered my workout clothes in case I needed to shed any if I got too warm. Luckily, the layers were just right and the wind keep sweating to a bare minimum.
I completed 3.15 miles in 58 minutes. And guess what? I feel so accomplished.
Today, the OCD came in very handy by not letting me ignore that pesky thought in my brain.
Today I completed day 3 of my C25K program. So far it's going well. Once my workout is complete, I continue walking until I get to 3 miles.
Last night my food choices were horrific and way over my calorie limit! I don't know why I just couldn't stop myself but I can't let that derail me. Today is a new day!
Now is the time of clicks, touch and swipe and while utilizing the basic routine of a student many college and university have started their eLearning programmes. Is online learning really as good as a traditional classroom?

Exercise (pt place) is on the schedule for tomorrow morning. We have a couple of new machines. I think they will change up the routine to "shock" the muscles! lol Five minutes is my longest on the stair stepper. Working my way up (first time was 1.5 min).
Time auto pause...in tree canopy Time auto resume...out of tree canopy Time auto pause...dancing Time auto resume...stop dancing, back to walking
At this rate, my workout is going to take forever to complete! But I sure do enjoy my music!
I managed to get in 2.24 miles in 41 minutes. I bought new shoes and compression leg sleeves to ward off the shin splints. I need to keep injury free to prevent the excuses from creeping back in.
