Thursday evening we had a short but powerful storm with high wind go through our neighborhood. Our power only went out for an hour but others down the street were out for 18 hours. We did lose our 10' plum tree in back. The wind broke the tree off at the base of the trunk. It took us almost 2 hours to cut it up with a chainsaw and I lugged it all to the front curb. Our neighbor a couple doors down found their pergola on top of their roof! That was our excitement for the week.
judycaretWow, that's some wind, men! Glad you're okay.
Somehow I gained a half-pound today--I honestly don't know why--so I walked a tougher route for 11,000 steps and cut back even more on calories. We'll see.
Well, I just received my tentative offer! I am ecstatic! Question - What is the procedure for verifying years of teaching? I have the form, so do I obtain the information from the schools?
BANot knowing where you are, this is a difficult question for us to answer for you. Perhaps call HR and ask what verification is needed--and whether you are responsible for providing it or whether they will get it. And congratulations!
Great resource to use when trying to incorporate technology into the classroom, if you don't have time to sign up the online modules are pretty easy to facilitate as well, my kids loved it!
I read a lot of stepping going on yesterday from the group. Great job, ladies!
The town is starting to pick up on traffic as the university opens in a few weeks. Lots of construction, new ways to drive down old roads, a few gas main breaks again from construction workers, schools open in a week and now the lazy days of summer are beginning to go away. Cool front coming in with today's incoming storms so Saturday's group training ride will be wonderful.
