I accepted a temporary position with DoDea and am awaiting a response after completing initial onboarding paper work. My hope is that I find something permanent in the near future, but I've read that other NTE employees were let go prior to that. If I am working this upcoming school year in an NTE position, am I considered an internal applicant on EAS? I know my application would still be active so was just curious if this helped my chan es.

I am also curious how I can go about applying for a pay advance in this position. Am I entitled to it, or is that only for permanent overseas employees?

If anyone also has experience trying to apply for secondary dependency for a family member (a parent) please let me know. Thank you!
Bee92 Actually, just got information that I will NOT have the option to apply for a pay advance. xD But the other two parts of my question I would like additional clarification on. Thank you!
