For the professional jobs, graduates from the Universities
Have better chances and opportunities for sure-
Compared to the holders of a High School diploma,
In spite of experience, the hurdles they have to endure!
Over the years, I have heard the “Commencement Speeches”,
Given to the University graduates, along with a degree-
But most of them are full of platitudes and a veiled
invitation
To keep on old traditions that we may disagree!
The speakers tend to ask the new graduates to support
The status quo in a polite and shameless way-
While the waves in job markets continue to shift
And force the weary employees to sway!
