Every problem statement has specific pre-requisite elements that include:
Method: the part explains how the problem is to be solved.
Issue Statement: gives the rationale for solving the concern being addressed in the research.
Vision: Offers insights into the significance of addressing the issues in the research and their implication on the environment.
Also, the problem statement has to provide answers to the following five "W's."
WHY: is it significant to address the concerns/problems?
WHO: is at risk of being affected by the issue/problem?
WHEN: do the issue/problem happen or when is the issue/problem addressed?
WHAT: is the concern/issue/problem, its effects, and benefits following the address?
WHERE: is the concern/issue/problem situated?
To put the above discussion into perspective, here at Qualitywriters.org we deliver research papers that meet all the requirements of the problem statement. Therefore, we avoid developing unclear research problems, and that are not exciting, lacking information, and differs from the subject matter of the research.
Getting around later than usual, I put an hour in at the pt place with 2 miles on treadmill, and 5 minutes on new stepper machine. When i get off that, my legs are shaking! I still need to get more steps in today. Only 6,772, so far.
Elaine, you are one amazing lady with your stepping numbers! jrod, I am glad you are feeling better and your dh is joining in your walks. Where are the other exercisers? Come join us if you are out there "lurking".
My goal was to explore the walking trails and see what was out there. I parked the car and choose a starting point. It was a lovely, wide path. Lots of Texas wildflowers blooming and I even saw some chickens roaming. I reached a point where I didn't know which way to go. I ended up choosing a branch that lead me to the linear park. Oh well, I followed it to check it out. It was wonderful albeit not much shade. On the way back to the original park, I ran out of water. It's 80* and I was approaching the path back when I saw a store. Luckily, I decided to bring my wallet instead of leaving it in the car. Yay me! I bought some water and happily continued on my way.
Once back in the park, I encountered a very steep hill I had to climb. Boy, was that tough after almost 4 miles. But, I did it! At the top of this hill, the path branched again I I choose the downhill side.
I managed to get in 5.03 miles in 95 minutes. I haven't done this distance in a very long time but it felt great and very doable.
jrod, I love your travelogue! How lovely compared to a gym (or a PT place, right Bev?). So much fun you forgot to watch the clock. Clever.
I did 12,973 steps today. This morning we were all bundled up with hat, etc. By afternoon, I took my coat off and walked in my sweatshirt. This weather--I'll take it! I actually planned to get in more steps tonight--I usually walk during my weekly chat with my sister-in-law, but tonight the energy had gone. Sometimes an introvert just has to play free cell--ha!

I wasn't sure I would be able to get my walk done since I woke up with a migraine that just wouldn't go away even with meds. But, I had an hair appointment and an oil change that needed to get done. Luckily, the pain was lessened that I could function.
I waited for hubby to get home since he wanted to go on the walk. He actually did a little jogging but only did 3 miles. He stopped at the duck pond to talk to a neighbor. On that last lap, a herd of deer decided to stop to eat near the path. Fortunately, something spooked them and I was able to continue on the path. Had they not moved, I would have altered my route to cut across the park.
Have I mentioned that I feel AWESOME moving again?!
On the third repetition today, I hit a mental wall as I was completing the walk portion going uphill. Luckily, the run portion started at the top and was on the downhill part of the path so that helped me push through. After this brief hiccup, the rest of the intervals went well. My total distance during this training was 1.94 miles (last Monday's was 1.73). Small improvement but improvement nonetheless!
I continued walking until I hit my 3 mile mark (my current daily goal) and ended up home with 3.19 miles.
