Hello everyone, I am an ed student and I am in my senior year. My dissertation's topic is how teachers of regular and special education perceive bullying. Could you please spend 5 minutes and answer this form ? It is completely anonymous
I walked alone, listening to a book, and happily logged 10,000 steps. I'm making up for a big splurge yesterday. It was DH's birthday and since neither of us are big on cake, I made big hot fudge sundaes. Yum!
Elaine/ret/INFlexibility is the key. Sounds yummy, Judy! Happy birthday, DH!
8,381 yesterday and 7,199 today. Not getting walks in, but working daily on the garden. Babysitting tonight. What could be better than sitting outside watching the 7-year-old shoot baskets and the 5 year-old-drawing with sidewalk chalk? Love these two faces.
I rode my bike to and from the place our group training cycles. It was in the high 80's in direct sun so it was very hot. I slathered myself in sunscreen but I still got darker. I can really feel the increase in speed and distance. It's still a long way before I am going to be ready for that 34 mile ride.
This afternoon we watched a monarch butterfly come out of its cocoon at a program at the library. Tonight I took the 3 grandkids to a downtown festival and that place was packed.
I had 3 women I have known die unexpectedly this week. One was the mother of 3 siblings I had in class. Age 57. Another was a special ed teacher I worked with and she was just 59. The other lady was 78 but I just saw her a couple weeks ago at my retirement party. All were unexpected. Sure makes one really think about one's mortality when that happens. Live each day to the fullest as we don't know if we will be here tomorrow.
I am glad Judy let us know where the Warriors were from. I knew they were playing the Cavs, but I couldn't recall where they were from. I am NOT a Cav fan so good luck Warriors.
Our dad called to let us know they were safe since there was another incident in London. It was before it hit the news so we didn't even know anything had happened. This is getting to be a frequent occurrence there.
Hi there. With more and more research showing that homework is not valuable in elementary school, what is your policy on homework for K-3 and 4-6? Thanks.
Hi - firstly, if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.
So, I need to create a fun lesson plan with games and activities for the topic Who runs the world - it is for three different age groups 5-8, pre teens and teenagers. if anyone has any good ideas please let me know.
NovelWhat are the aims of the lesson? What are you trying to teach? Once you know that, you can plan your lesson. At the moment, the aim is too unspecific and far-ranging. Good luck.

We did a feature on using VR headsets (like the very affordable Google Cardboard) in classroom field trips. Is anyone doing VR field trips in their classrooms?
