We are getting ready for a garage sale this weekend so it's tough to fit in too much biking. I have cycling class in the am and if it's not storming Saturday, I hope to do the training ride.
Elaine: don't you just love this spring weather like today? I think we got 7" more rain then average but these sunny days help us forget the rainy days.
Judy, I LIKE your leadership...See MoreMen, what an accomplishment to see DGD taking some nearly-adult responsibility! You've taught her well, and you're caring for yourself as well.
jrod, so glad to be at the end of your slide. You're life is always on the move. I'm sorry about your brother. Two workouts in 1 day--an overachiever, you are.
Judy, I LIKE your leadership here--teehee! Kudos to the sub caregiver who can give you a break. Self-care, again.
Morning walk with friend. Afternoon at a county park with DH. Solo walk this evening. Perfect day to be outdoors.
Decoration Day is the most beautiful of our national holidays . . . The grim cannon have turned unto palm branches, and the shell and shrapnel into peach blossoms.
We took geraniums in urns to the cemetery, but no ceremony. DH golfed, and I worked outside.
I did 3 walks, which turned out longer than I'd expected because SIL called while I was walking, so I added on time to walk with her. Never turn down a walking partner is my motto. Total: 17623 steps; do you think this is really accurate?
We had lunch out and watched ceremony at the county building. Shopped for a few more plants for DM which I planted during a sprinkle. lol We were hoping for more, to help with what's planted in the garden. DN is spending the night at DM's, so I am enjoying time at home.
We are getting ready for a garage sale this weekend even though it is supposed to rain. We are finally going through boxes that belong to our daughter who lives overseas. There are things in there from junior high. She told us what she wants to keep so there is a lot to go through yet. I sigh as I clean out stuff as I know it's a matter of time before hubby buys more stuff. I just want my belongings down to nothing so my kids don't have to get rid of it.
The youngest caught a toad in the backyard so that kept her occupied for a couple hours. It's a good thing the dog wasn't interested in the toad. She had Mike's underground and rabbits under the ivy to sniff for.
Elaine, I was reading just yesterday I think about how inaccurate those tech toys are for exercising. I think the article was in USA Today maybe. I never could get pedometers to work right so I gave up in those.
Well, I hear the thunder and saw lightening so I need to get some things done.
Bob R/CAThat was my mistake, as soon as I was made aware of it I had it fixed. Hopefully that won't happen again, but if you do see errors like that, I encourage you to report them to us by email at webmaster@teachers.net.
