Based on haha's logic (which is likely the case) you'd think Europe would want to start recruiting at the same time to get the best teachers!

That's what I was thinking. I imagine the Pacific gets all the better qualified teachers since they seem to be looking already.

Ideally they would count for both as long as the title or description has severe or intellectual disabilities in it. I'd just start googling online special Ed classes.

As teach said, they should work for both if the title and description is similar to most SPED courses like that. Try Grand Canyon. I got my Master in SPED (plus a few more course) through them and it was all online.

When you login click on application and look in the upper left hand corner. If your file is inactive because they are considering you for a position it will say something like: "The DoDEA staff is currently processing your application. You will be unable to make changes at this time. "

There have been some of us Sped teachers on this forum who have received referrals in Japan. Nothing from Guam yet.

You should apply for compensatory reading as well since you have a reading endorsement.

I did add compensatory reading after the fact, but it says pending. I did not want to teach reading initially because I have been doing only math for 10 years.
